Jakarta, February 2016. As part of games industry community, Lyto continously participate in events conduct by the community. In the early of 2016, Lyto has been selected for the second time as place to hold annual event called Global Game Jam® (GGJ) for Indonesia region.


What is Global Game Jam® (GGJ)?

The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place in physical locations across the globe. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. During the worldwide event: At each site, participants gather to develop ideas, form small groups, create new, creative, innovative games, and present them to their peers and the global community, all in a limited time span.

Global Game Jam (GGJ) 2016 Jakarta held at Lyto Headquarter on January 29th – 31st, 2016, participated by 62 jammer (10 team) and have created 14 games.


As per worldwide, Global Game Jam 2016 has concluded over 36,000 jammers across 93 countries have created almost 6800 games - making 2016 the biggest year for Global Game Jam yet!
